Cup of Cool Water (CCW) is a Spokane drop-in center serving youth and young adults ages 14-24 experiencing homelessness, housing instability, or crisis. Project focus: help CCW tell the story of its work through authentic, respectful, compelling video content for social media, the website, fundraising campaigns, and the annual gala. On-site in Spokane, with weekly mentorship from a CCW supervisor. Deliverables include 1-2 polished impact videos, short-form social videos, usable B-roll, and recommendations for future content.
What you'll do
- Create short-form video content for social media and community outreach
- Capture staff, volunteer, program, and event stories
- Develop 1-2 polished videos for the website, social media, fundraising, and the annual gala
- Help develop ideas for POV, storytelling, and behind-the-scenes content
- Assist with basic editing, captions, and platform formatting
- Ensure storytelling is respectful, strengths-based, and protects young adults' privacy
Who's a good fit
- Interest or experience in videography, storytelling, or video editing
- Creative eye and strong sense of visual storytelling
- Comfortable working with people and capturing authentic moments
- Familiarity with social media video formats a plus
- Organized, dependable, and willing to take initiative
- Passion for making a difference in the community

- About 6-8 hours/week for 6-8 weeks (~40-50 hours total)
