Cup of Cool Water (CCW) is a Spokane drop-in center serving youth and young adults ages 14-24 experiencing homelessness, housing instability, or crisis. Project focus: support CCW's fundraising by researching funding opportunities, telling its story through compelling writing, and strengthening donor outreach. On-site in Spokane, with weekly mentorship from a CCW supervisor. Deliverables include a grant prospect list, funding research, grant drafts or supporting materials, an organized collection of statistics and impact stories, and donor communication materials.
What you'll do
- Research grant opportunities aligned with CCW's mission and programs
- Identify prospective foundations, businesses, and community partners
- Assist with grant research, drafting, and preparation
- Gather and organize program statistics and impact stories
- Assist with donor communications and fundraising materials
- Support fundraising campaigns and special projects
- Help build a reusable library of organizational language, statistics, and stories
