Singularity University is looking for a fast, creative editor to transform hours of expert talks and course content into engaging short-form social media videos. Its programs feature leading voices in technology, innovation, and leadership; your job is to find the compelling moments and turn them into clips that capture attention and spark conversation online. Start date March 2026.
What you'll do
- Edit short-form social media videos from a library of program recordings and talks
- Create engaging clips optimized for LinkedIn, Instagram, and other channels
- Identify strong moments, insights, and soundbites from longer talks
- Add captions, pacing, and formatting to maximize engagement
- Work quickly to produce a steady stream of video content
Who's a good fit
- Experience editing video content for social media
- Ability to create engaging, fast-paced short-form videos
- Strong sense of storytelling, pacing, and audience attention
- Comfortable working quickly with large volumes of footage
- Familiarity with social media video formats and trends
- Bonus: experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or CapCut
- Bonus: interest in emerging technology, leadership, and innovation
