Support Leadership Spokane's Operations team with finance and bookkeeping tied to the organization's annual gala, from pre-event revenue tracking through post-event financial close-out. Runs January 5 to approximately February 19, 2027, covering the February 6 gala and post-event close-out.
What you'll do
- Support finance and bookkeeping tasks for the annual gala
- Track sponsorships, ticket sales, and event revenue
- Assist reconciling invoices, receipts, and vendor payments
- Organize and maintain accurate financial records
- Support post-event financial wrap-up, including reconciliation and a final expense/revenue summary
- Prepare simple summary reports for staff review
Who's a good fit
- Interest in accounting, bookkeeping, or nonprofit finance
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Comfortable in spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets)
- Able to handle sensitive financial information with discretion
- Self-directed and reliable, flexible around a hard event deadline (Feb 6 gala)
